Lighthouse Pizza accepts applications year-round.
Positions include:

Cook -- Prepare pizza and other menu items, following Lighthouse Pizza's recipes and procedures, package food for delivery or carryout. During non-peak hours, cook may also serve as CSR, taking orders and payments and serving customers.

CSR -- Customer Service Representative/Server -- Greet customers, take telephone and walk-in orders and enter on computer. Take orders at tables from dine-in customers and deliver food and beverages to tables. Operate cash register (computerized Point of Sale system), collect payments, process credit card transactions and give correct change. Assist with packaging orders for pickup or delivery. Collect payments from drivers after deliveries.

Drivers -- Deliver orders to locations on Tybee Island. Collect payment for delivery or get credit card signature, and turn in payment to CSR. Must have valid drivers' license, dependable automobile and current insurance. Knowledge of area is a plus. When not on a delivery, assist CSRs and cooks with telephones, prep, packaging, clearing tables and other duties as needed.

All positions are part-time and seasonal, though more hours may be available during peak season. Spring/summer positions end after Labor Day weekend.

Due to heavy traffic and resulting commuting time during the summer, preferred applicants will live on Tybee or in the islands area. Applicants from outside the Savannah area will not be considered. Applicants, such as college students, who have other addresses but who will live within commuting distance during the summer should note that on their application.

Summer hours are noon-10 p.m. daily, later hours on most Friday and Saturday nights. Winter hours begin in October or November and are 5-10 p.m. Monday through Friday, noon-10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Students welcome, age 16 and 17 must have a minor work permit, with approval from parents and school. Under 18 must be attending school or have high school diploma.
